Books About Self Love: My Faves
I know what some of you are thinking... Books? Really Tori? But the answer is... yes, books. I have never been much of a reader, however, I was introduced to a specific book, and it changed my entire outlook on reading. With that being said, I am going to give you insight on a few of the books that have truly helped my mindset, my life, & so much more. Here we go!
1. You Are A Badass by Jen Sincero - This book explains how to stop doubting your greatness and start living an awesome life. I have read it not once, but twice! If you're ready to make some serious and positive changes, I strongly recommend this book. It really put everything into perspective for me, and she shares some of her own stories, which are hilarious, so it really kept my attention. She talks a lot about identifying and changing your own self-sabotaging beliefs and behaviors that stop you from getting what you want, how to get past your fears, figure out how to make some damn money already, learn to love yourself and others, set big goals and how to reach them - it will basically show you how to create a life you totally love, and how to create it right NOW! Freaking love her. Guys, you need to read this now! Purchase this book on Amazon here.
2. You Are A Badass At Making Money by Jen Sincero - Okay guys, part two. You Are A Badass At Making Money is also another favorite of mine! She explains things in a way so you can easily relate them to YOUR life, and not just want and wish for it all. I was excited to read this book because in all honesty, I am terrible with finances. By reading this book, I learned that financial abundance is an inside job and it all begins with the right mindset. It especially helped me a lot because as a fashion blogger, you have a lot of new expenses, and it is SO important to manage them in the right way, considering your constantly shopping and buying new items! 3. Get Your Shit Together by Sarah Knight - I am actually still reading this, but so far I have loved it. It literally talks about "The Life-Changing Magic of Not Giving a F*ck" and really goes into detail about mental decluttering. It talks about negative thinking, how to get your shit together, how to spend less & save more, how to manage anxiety, & so much more! Like I said, I am not even finished reading, and I already think its worth recommending. Purchase this book on Amazon here.
I think as humans, there are always area's of our lives that we can improve in. I, myself, am ALWAYS looking for ways to improve, physically and mentally. Life is hard in so many different ways, and even someone that looks like they never struggle, probably do. Reading self help books really allow me to see things in a different perspective, realize I am not the only one going through a tough situation, and more importantly, they just motivate me to be a better person. If somebody else did it, then why can't I? Third chapter and I'm over here like "hell yes let's do this!" I hope these recommendations have helped, and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out. I absolutely LOVE listening to people's stories and helping in any way that I can. Happy reading :)
